Ferbegy? Is a four piece alternative rock band formed in Bolzano (IT) in 2007. Their sound is a soul-nuanced rock, inspired by 70′s flavour hard rock, late 60′s brit-folk and electro-minimal influences.
They spent the first years toghether in writing songs, finding their own sound and playing in each pub, festival and event in their neighbourhood. In two years of activity they played in Rock im Ring, Emergency, Steinegg Live, School’s Out, they share the stage with Malfunk, Phidge and The Bastard Sons of Dioniso, they go to the final selection of Arezzo Wave and win the Upload Festival (…) in 2010 (Marlene Kuntz Cristiano Godano was the art director). They play on the same stage with Echo and the Bunnymen and Unkle. In summer 2011 they go on stage in the national indie meeting MEI and record their first EP “What if trees could speak” with David Lenci (Uzeda, Three Second Kiss), published by Killyourlabel. After the release of the EP they go on tour in Italy (Roma, Bologna, Trento) and Germany (Frankfurt, Mainz, Zweibruecken) with the german band Sugar from Soul. They share the stage with Kill it Kid, Ben Kenney (Incubus), Julie Christmas and with Beatsteaks at Rock im Ring. In 2013 they decided to record their first Lp “Soul Echoes” recorded at NoLogo Studio (Laives-IT) and published by indie label Riff Records.
